As a Data Engineer (Mid and Senior), your mission is to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that empower teams to make faster and smarter decisions.
This role focuses on developing reliable data pipelines, integrating diverse sources, and ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and secure. You’ll play a key role in shaping the data platform, optimising data flows, and enabling advanced analytics and reporting across the organisation.
You’ll take ownership of data solutions end-to-end, from modelling, transformation, monitoring, and documentation. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align technical delivery with business needs, while promoting best practices in data quality, performance, and governance.
Here Are the Key Tasks You'll Be Working on Every Day
- Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and backend systems for optimal performance, reliability, and cost efficiency, while adhering to best practices in data architecture, documentation, and governance to ensure quality and consistency.
- Integrate external data sources and connect disparate datasets to enable comprehensive analysis.
- Work within an agile environment to collaborate across product and business teams to analyse business requirements and align data solutions with organizational objectives.
- Investigate and resolve production issues while continuously improving processes.
We're Thrilled to Have You Consider Joining Our Team. Here Are the Qualifications We're Seeking
- At least six years of experience with SQL, Databases, and creating scalable data pipelines.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs, with an understanding of RESTful APIs (AdTech APIs preferred).
- Working experience with Python, with the use of data manipulation and analysis libraries to support complex workflows.
- Proficiency with Spark and Databricks.
- Hands-on experience with data warehouse concepts, preparing data, and configuring automated workflows.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Skills That Would Make You Shine Even Brighter!
- You have AWS and Databricks certifications.
- You are familiar with Airflow or Dagster, or other orchestration tools.
- You have previous experience with a fast-paced, results-driven company.
